In short

Croptic is at stand R14 at Interpom 2026, from 29 November to 1 December at Kortrijk Xpo. We show what a drone flight in potatoes delivers: a weed map for your own sprayer, a haulm destruction map and a plant count. And we are there as the AI partner of the SelectoVision roguing cart.

In potatoes

Where you see no weeds, our AI does.

In potatoes it is about the survivors of your pre-emergence treatment. They sit scattered across the field, and those are exactly the spots that end up on the map.

In potatoes

Four moments in the potato season

This is what we did for potato growers in 2026.

  1. 01

    Weeds after emergence

The survivors of your pre-emergence treatment: black nightshade, fat hen, cockspur, yellow nutsedge and volunteer potatoes. The drone flies after emergence and before row closure, and your own sprayer hits only those spots.

  2. 02

    Haulm destruction

The drone sees which haulm is still green. The task map treats only there, instead of the whole field once more.

  3. 03

    Plant counting

How many plants are really standing and where the gaps are. The drone counts emergence per field, so you see at once which parts are lagging. Done in potatoes and in carrots.

  4. 04

    Fertilisation maps

A fertilisation map in kilograms per hectare from the crop stand of the field, delivered for potatoes and onions.

Partner

We are the AI partner of SelectoVision

SelectoVision is the optical roguing cart by Vegniek for seed potatoes. Eight cameras watch eight rows, six metres wide. When the system recognises a diseased plant, the cart stops and puts a blue spot on that plant, so you can pull it straight away.

Croptic builds and trains the AI that does the recognising, on virus diseases such as Y virus and leaf roll, in the field and while you drive. Every run produces imagery that sharpens the model for the next round.
