The detection

The AI sees the weed, Lander checks it.

The drone flies your field and the AI recognises weeds from about 3 centimetres, with species recognition and georeferencing. After that every map passes Lander before it reaches you.

  • Your task map is ready within 24 to 48 hours after the flight.
  • The map says which weed is where, not just that something is there.
  • Lander checks every map, what is not a weed comes off, and what the AI missed goes on.

Your machine

Works on the sprayer you already have.

You get the task map as a shapefile or ISOXML, in your terminal format. The grid follows your working width, so the map fits the machine you already own.

  • The finer your sprayer can switch, the smaller the treated spot. With nozzle by nozzle control at 50 centimetres you end up at about one square metre.
  • Tell us which terminal you use when you order, and we check compatibility before the flight.
  • A task map does not replace your drift reduction. In Flanders 90 percent has been the standard in the quality schemes since 2026, in the Netherlands at least 75 percent, and that holds however much less you spray.

The timing

Fly before the canopy closes.

Weeds have to be visible from above. Once the canopy closes they disappear underneath it and detection no longer works. That is why we look at the window with you when you order.

  • The best window is with weeds of about 3 to 10 centimetres: big enough to recognise, small enough to still control well. You can still spray bigger weeds, and the drone actually spots those more easily.
  • Tell us which crop is standing and when you want to spray, and we plan the flight around it.
